Post 5: My Future Job

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today I'll write about the job I would like to have. Well, I would like to have a job related to the major that I study: Theory and History of Art, but I don't know yet which area I would like to work in specifically because I would like to work in different ones, such as education or restoration and conservation, and both would be indoors. I have to say that when I imagine myself inside a museum or classroom, I feel butterflies in my stomach hahaha. I think that I would be very happy working in either of those two areas. About the travel, I would like to travel a lot in my job because I would learn much about art masterpieces, and even I would do a specialty outside the country. I think this is very important for developing a working career in the education area and the area of restoration and conservation. But despite that, I would like much more to stay in Chile specifically, in my hometown, promoting the culture and the arts through edu...

Post 4: My Bucket List

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today I'll write about my bucket list. Speak about this is a little difficult for me because I've to confess that I've never made a bucket list indeed, I've never thought much about it, although many times I've been recommended to do it. Anyway, I think that it's a great way to have clarity about my goals so I can make them happen, so I just thought of one. Well, on my bucket list, I would include activities about my personal development like learning sewing,  ceramics, and other languages; be more an understanding person, and get out of my comfort zone. Apart from that, I would like to travel around the world, appreciate nature, have my vegetable garden and complete my familiar tree with my ancestors. I would love to travel around the world with my loved ones, but I think this activity is a bit more difficult to achieve, because I've to have time and money, and besides that, I've to speak more languages apart from my...

Post 3: My Favorite Movie

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today I'll write about my favorite movie  Tres Tristes Tigres  (1968) by Chilean director Raúl Ruiz, based on Alejandro Sieveking's theatre play of the same name. I remember the first time that I watched this movie: I was impressed, left me confused and makes me feel uncertain because its narrative strategies are entirely different  from the cinema that I was used to seeing; for example, this movie has no central conflict because the characters are guided by events, not by their actions, like Nicanor Parra's poem Un Hombre, and I found that very interesting. But I must recognize that it's my favorite movie over others because I have a special affection for it. This movie was the first one that I watched at a film festival, after that I was delighted with Ruiz's cinema, and the cinema in general, because before this I didn't see much of cinema.  I usually like to watch drama and suspense movies, but I also watch horror an...
