Post 1: A Country I would like to visit

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog.

Today I'll write about a country I would like to visit.

First of all, I have to say that I choose just one country is very difficult for me because I would like to visit many countries (I think like everyone else), like Egypt or Japan, for example, but for this opportunity I choose Italy to speak about this topic. 

One thing that I know about Italy is that the Roman Empire was born in its territory and that it was also the birthplace of humanism, renaissance, and the greatest artist of western art. For that, I would love to visit  Italy, because it possesses the vestiges and traces of great moments of history. There, I would like to visit heritage sites, like the Coliseum, Pompeii,  Milan cathedral, or the valley of the temples. I also would like to visit places related to art, like Sixtine Chapel or Florence. And obviously, I also would like to try its food and learn more about Italian culture.










If you ask me if I would like to live in Italy, I can say that I would love to study, work or live in Italy because it would help me a lot for the major that I'm studying: Theory and History of Art. If I lived in Italy, I could be close to the great masterpieces by the greatest artists like Leonardo, Caravaggio, or Michelangelo. But at the moment I think that it is not possible.

    Hi Francisca!

    Italy is an amazing country, it has so much history and culture!

    We can learn a lot of its architecture, art, gastronomy, and as and student of History of Art it would be an excellent choice of country to visit!

    I think Italy is one of the most interesting countries in Europe for historians for any reason, the arts, history, music, theater, religion. For the arts especially Florence

    Hello Francisca I love your post. I think Italy is a very interesting country. In fact I wrote about the same place. I agree with you that is the best place for to learn about history art.

Post 2: The best holidays

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today I'll write about my best holiday. First I have to say that maybe this holiday is not the best, and not the most amazing either but I remember them with a lot of affection because it was a travel that we won with my high school classmates. The trip that we won was to Torres del Paine, and as we were in Punta Arenas, we were close to our destination. This holiday was at the end of 2015, and it lasted 4 or 5 days (I don't remember exactly). In those days, with my classmates, we hiked and saw beautiful landscapes such as glacier Grey, lake Pehue, and Salto Grande. We were also able to see incredible wildlife such as huemul, condors, guanacos, and foxes. And apart from that, we saw rock art, and also we visited the Milodon cave. It was a modest holiday, but we enjoyed it so much because we had never traveled together before. Post 7: Changes to my Study Programme

 Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today I'll write about changes to my study programme. First of all, I have to say that I study Theory and History of Art, and I really like my study programme. I like the curriculum and the teaching methods. But if I had to make changes to my study programme, the first one that comes to my mind is to include  practical subjects in my career because, in my opinion, it would be very nourishing for our formation. For example, if we learned a few art techniques such as drawing, sculpture, or painting, we would have a much better understanding of the procedures, the artistic disciplines, and the position of the artist, and, in that way, we could make a much more complete analysis about artworks.      Apart from that, I would include a new teaching method, like practical teaching, because I think that studying with physical artworks would be good, specifically to study topics like conservation, collections, and even the curatorship...

Post 4: My Bucket List

 Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today I'll write about my bucket list. Speak about this is a little difficult for me because I've to confess that I've never made a bucket list indeed, I've never thought much about it, although many times I've been recommended to do it. Anyway, I think that it's a great way to have clarity about my goals so I can make them happen, so I just thought of one. Well, on my bucket list, I would include activities about my personal development like learning sewing,  ceramics, and other languages; be more an understanding person, and get out of my comfort zone. Apart from that, I would like to travel around the world, appreciate nature, have my vegetable garden and complete my familiar tree with my ancestors.
