Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog.
Today I'll write about changes to my study programme.
First of all, I have to say that I study Theory and History of Art, and I really like my study programme. I like the curriculum and the teaching methods. But if I had to make changes to my study programme, the first one that comes to my mind is to include practical subjects in my career because, in my opinion, it would be very nourishing for our formation. For example, if we learned a few art techniques such as drawing, sculpture, or painting, we would have a much better understanding of the procedures, the artistic disciplines, and the position of the artist, and, in that way, we could make a much more complete analysis about artworks.
Apart from that, I would include a new teaching method, like practical teaching, because I think that studying with physical artworks would be good, specifically to study topics like conservation, collections, and even the curatorship. In my view, leaving the purely theoretical study to study from practice can make us better prepared professionals. We could learn better the ways of conservation of artworks or the ways of setting up an exhibition. For that reason, I think that facilities of faculty must be improved, well, and not only for that but also because the infrastructure of the faculty is very deficient. And to conclude this point, I think that we need more technology in our career, principally, to study the conservation of artworks.
Finally, about the length of studies, in my opinion, eight semesters are fine, but I also think that two more semesters should be added, principally, to include the practical studies.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this post :)

Taking that career to the practical part would train excellent professionals and would be a very good source of work.
