Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog.
Today I'll write about my favorite movie Tres Tristes Tigres (1968) by Chilean director Raúl Ruiz, based on Alejandro Sieveking's theatre play of the same name.
I usually like to watch drama and suspense movies, but I also watch horror and comedy movies; indeed, the last movie I saw was Shiva Baby by Emma Seligman, a comedy and drama movie. In a few words, I liked this film mainly because of the atmosphere that Seligman creates of being cornered, tense, and with no way out; I think that it made me feel the same discomfort as the protagonist, but maintaining the comedy. I recommend watching it because one of the topics of this film is the pressure the protagonist is under for her future caused by the uncomfortable questions of people. Moments that many of us have probably faced.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this post :)

My favorite Ruiz film is Las Tres Coronas del Marinero (1982). I keep reading it as an allegory of exile.
ResponderEliminarwow, I never thought I was going to find a Chilean movie. I must confess that I have not seen that movie, but it sounds very interesting. I think I will see it :)
